Emrill’s employee satisfaction survey is conducted biannually sampling an extensive random portion representing approx. 60% of the workforce.

At Emrill, investing in our people is not just limited to improving performance and productivity but also enhancing the employee experience with high standards of welfare facilities and initiatives. Our commitment to the welfare and wellbeing of our employees is of utmost importance and we continuously strive to raise the bar higher to provide the best facilities, recreation and work/life balance.
Emrill staff benefit from a dedicated Employee Welfare Manager whose absolutely priority is to ensure that the needs and interests of employees are listened to and continuously facilitated. The Welfare team manages a variety of events such as sports meets, tournament matches and internal social activities including the Annual Emrill Carnival which is a festival of sporting and recreational activities that take place over a period of 3 months. This is our largest event annually with employees competing in 34 events including swimming, football, volleyball, cricket, dancing, and painting to represent their sites.
The Employee Accommodation, Welfare and Recreational facilities are aligned with Emrill’s objectives to care for employees by providing high quality accommodation, recreational facilities and work-life balance. Employees remain a top priority at the organisation and we believe that providing a healthy lifestyle with a good work life balance leads to satisfied employees that are more efficient, loyal and motivated.

Recognition Award Programmes

Emrill understands the importance of recognising the achievements of employees across the organisation through several key programmes. These programmes assist in the development of employees and motivate staff to achieve high performance levels.
employee-of-the-month is awarded to exceptional employees who demonstrate service excellence, high performance levels and contribute to the organisations values. employee-of-the-year is a great pride within the organisation and includes a reward for the achievement. Employees are selected on the basis of exceptional performance that has delivered beyond expectations and exhibited strong work ethics during the year.
long-service-award recognises employees who have completed 5 years of continuous service in appreciation of their loyalty and dedication awarding a gold coin. ‘Loyalty Awards’ are also given to employees who have completed a year of service with five lucky winners each receiving an air ticket to their homeland. best-initiative-award is presented to individual site based efforts towards improvements and ideas that have been implemented. Winners are selected in several categories including Safety, Quality, Cost and Sustainability.
Emrill is always looking to continuously improve ways to recognise, reward and promote talent within the company through recognition schemes among other initiatives across the business.
