One treatment will last the life of the system.
How do I know Permafrost is working?
Our technicians will be able to show you measurable temperature drops in the air coming from your vents. Your thermostat will reach desired set temperatures faster and your unit will turn off more often. This will result in a reduction in the amount of energy your unit uses which will be reflected on your monthly energy bill.
How much energy will I save?
The total amount you will save depends on the age and current condition of your unit. Typically a unit that is 2 years or older will see the best benefits form the product. Permafrost will reduce the energy used in these systems by as much as 10 - 20%. Since 70% of your electric bill is directly related to your air conditioning this will result in significant savings on your monthly bill.
I have a new unit. Do I still need Permafrost?
Yes you do. In a new unit oil has not yet developed on the inner lining of the coils. Permafrost will prevent the oil from ever developing, thus allowing the unit to maintain higher efficiency levels over its entire life span.
How long does Permafrost take to install?
The entire process will take no longer than 30 to 45 minutes.
Are you making any mechanical changes to my system?
No we are not. We are simply adding oil to the system.
Is permafrost a ‘Green’ product?
Yes, it absolutely is a ‘Green’ product. Any preventative measures you take in your home to save energy helps to reduce the carbon footprint that energy use leaves on our environment. Additionally, permafrost is tested and proven to be an inert, environmentally safe product.
