Krishnan's appointment follows the promotion of his predecessor in the new role, Alex Davies, to Emrill's managing director.
In his previous role, Krishnan – who started his career as an executive at TI Cycles of India – was responsible for three major FM portfolios with Emrill, comprising of residential, infrastructure, and healthcare properties.
Krishnan joined Emrill in 2003 as assistant facilities manager of The Greens Community.
In his new position, Krishnan will lead Emrill's operations in the UAE, and develop programmes in line with the company's strategic objective plan, reporting directly to Davies.
Besides a bachelors in civil engineering degree and an MBA from SMU University, Krishnan holds PGcFM accreditation from Member Grade – British Institute of Facilities Management (MBIFM) and NEBOSH certification.
Remarking on the new appointment, Davies said: "I am delighted to welcome Gopala to the Emrill Leadership Team; his extensive engineering and FM experience is a key asset to us at Emrill.
"His proven ability to lead and develop Emrill's FM offering will be put to full use to further enhance our customer excellence service approach."
